Senior Technical Manager of Entertainment Channel Development Team

Senior Technical Manager to lead New York City based Software Engineering development group responsible for building web sites for Entertainment business at AOL. The Web Sites consist of the Music, TV, Movies and Black Voices channels.

Experience leading teams building high performance and scalable web sites.

Familiarity with Java based development using mostly Opensource components
Including but not limited to Apache, Tomcat, Solr/Lucene , Mule etc.

Understanding of the role of Content Management Systems and experience building or integrating them to control the editorial experience on Web sites.

Ability to work collaboratively with Architects and other backend teams that provide services that power the Web Channels.

Excellent communication skills both oral and written and ability to interact with both Technical and Business partners in and out of AOL.

Experience in highly dynamic environments with the ability to anticipate and change course rapidly to adapt to evolving competitive pressures.
